Who am I?

Who is Rommel? Deep question. My name's Rommel and I love it, though I've had different ones at different stages of my life. Rommel, Rommelin, Rommelito, Romm, Rommeo, Rommemmo... In fact, I finally understood that my name may be anything, but I will remain Rommel.

Said so, I, Rommel, am part of this universe, and also I might be a universe as well. Regardless of that, let's think about it as a triangle, from the top to the base, because I'm answering something deep. If we think of the top, it's just a dot. Just like what we are among all the things in the universe. From that point of view, I'm an earthling. Going to science, my biological structure allows all the cells in my body to react in-chain, therefore, I'm a living being, just like animals and plants. Moreover, I have a brain and a heart, just like animals. We would be alike if it weren't for the different circumstances our species have evolved. However, the ones that look like me created language, science, culture... they started thinking! That thing makes me an intelligent being, but besides thinking, I can feel. Feeling and thinking make me a human being.

Going down the triangle, entering into the labels of the intelligent beings, I'm a young Ecuadorian with dark skin, black hair, and dark-brown eyes. But most of the people look like that. I also have a mole on my left palm. Does that make me unique? Not really, because there are also things that I'm into and things that I dislike. Arts, such as music and painting fill me! Books, where people tell amazing stories, they catch me! Cold weather and hiking give me joy! Not as corruption from people, or violence against the undefended, that breaks me. Now it's clearer, but there are people who also have similar interests. So we need to go deeper.

Immersing to the base, we get into my mind and soul. Here, my brain and heart are the co-stars, because they process everything: what I learn, what to forget. What I love, what I hate. Pictures of my past, and scenes of my future. These things now better define who I am. I love my family and friends. I love my pets and the vibrant surroundings of our planet. I hate feeling sick, I hate crowded places, I hate it when I hurt someone else. When it comes to decisions, my mind and soul work together to make a choice. Those choices make me fail or succeed, but at the end of the day, they all are my choices, and I've learned with every one of them. Hence, it's true that I'm not only skin and bones, I'm also my feelings and emotions, my thoughts, and my fears.

Recalling what I mentioned first, I am a universe, a dark sky with constellations of unique features. If you only focus on a star, you will notice that there are lots of them similar. Therefore, you must look at the entire firmament to find the answer. All the details above in the blue together make me who I am, just like everyone. I'm Rommel.
